Mt.Fuji is a mountain that fascinates many people across time and borders. Every year, as many as 200,000 to 300,000 people visit Japan's highest peak. I have always dreamed of climbing to Mt.Fuji, at least once in my life. And this summer, a long-cherished dream has come true, and I climbed to Mt.Fuji on August 17-18th!

Besides the exhibition "Manga Design Exhibition ~ Connecting Chinese and Japanese through Manga Design ~" held in Beijing, China from September 4th to 15th, 2019, "Manga Design Exhibition 2019" will be held from October 5th to 19th at Japan Creative Centre (Embassy of Japan in Singapore)!

Dango in general are made by rolling grain powder into little balls with some (hot) water and then steaming or boiling them. The balls are skewered together and served with anko (red bean paste), sauce or various other toppings on them.
One of the most popular dango is mitarashi dango. Mitarashi dango are served covered in a sweet-and-salty soy sauce based dressing and are often seen in tourist hotspots like Asakusa.
