Have you heard of wotagei? It is said to be dated from 1970s. At that time, the "Guards" (ardent fans groups) cheered (or chanted) along with music to show their support to their idols. And wotagei is said to be exactly evolved from this. Around 2000, the supporting arts, such as cheering for idols, were established with the name "Idol Otaku Art" = "Otagei". In addition, the act of holding a pen cyalume while performing is distinguishable from "otagei" by being called "wotagei".
The well-loved manga design exhibition held in Singapore last year (2018) will continue this year (2019)!
Besides the exhibition "Manga Design Exhibition ~ Connecting Chinese and Japanese through Manga Design ~" held in Beijing, China from September 4th to 15th, 2019, "Manga Design Exhibition 2019" will be held from October 5th to 19th at Japan Creative Centre (Embassy of Japan in Singapore)!

Comic Market is the world's biggest dojinshi convention, commonly known as Comiket. It is held twice a year in summer and winter, and the venue is now located at Tokyo Big Sight. Dojinshi, games made by oneself, music CDs, homemade accessories and toys, cosplay, company booths...all expressions are encouraged here, and all people who come here pull together to create this event and make it better. This is a manga of a workshop of students of Communication University of China with Manga de Japan.
It is a six-frame cartoon on the theme of "Harajuku" that the students considered.And this is one of 6 wonderful works.
Why "Harajuku”? Because Manga de Japan company is in Harajuku.
