In the more than 20 years since its founding in 1990, City Bakery in New York’s Union Square has become a much-loved institution. THE CITY BAKERY TENJIN, the fourth of the company’s Japanese outlets, has made its appearance on floor B2 of Fukuoka’s SOLARIA PLAZA fashion mall.
Its hallmark product is its “pretzel croissant“, which faithfully captures local flavors.
It also carries a full assortment of cookies and muffins that communicate the charm of the flagship New York bakery.
Its offerings also include plenty of unique Japanese creations, giving young and old alike the same joy a visit to their local bakery.
Open 365 days a year, the adjoining restaurant offers lunch and dinner menus. Enjoy a variety of Western-style dishes created from the finest ingredients, paired with a glass of wine.
The Tenjin store is one of only three City Bakeries with an adjoining restaurant in Japan. And the first floor of SOLARIA PLAZA is home to THE CITY BAKERY BAR & BURGER RUBIN, where you can enjoy City Bakery burgers and a well-stocked bar.
This is the only BAR & BURGER in Japan! Like the restaurant on the first floor, it offers lunch and dinner menus.
And what do you think? Could we have built a reputation as a beloved institution over more than 20 years if we weren’t a place that could be enjoyed by young and old, men and women alike?
We invite you all to come and see for yourselves.
