Hello everyone! This is Adachi from MdJ. This time I tried a kind of fish called "Odontamblyopus lacepedii", and would like to make a comment on it!
"<So what on earth is Odontamblyopus lacepedii?>
Odontamblyopus lacepedii is a kind of Perciformes Gobiidae fish, and only distributed in Ariake Sea in Japan."
Because Odontamblyopus lacepedii looks like aliens in the foreign film "Alien", it is called "the Alien in Ariake Sea".
Though the appearance of Odontamblyopus lacepedii is quite strange at the first glance, it tastes surprisingly delicious and thus quite popular. Among the selections, dried fish is the best! So this time I tried dried Odontamblyopus lacepedii!
"<Comments on Taste>
Slightly sweeter than niboshi, chewy, it is the perfect snack going with Japanese wine!"
What do you think? Don't concern about the strange appearance of Odontamblyopus lacepedii, it is really delicious! Make sure to have a try as well when you come to Ariake Sea."
